But now Rishabh Pant broke Kapil Dev’s 40-year-old record by scoring a half-century in just 28 balls and came at number one.

Shardul Thakur is at number three in terms of scoring the fastest half-century in Test cricket for India and he did this feat in 31 balls against England in 2021.
