Roshni Act: first BJP leader named in Roshni scam, former PDP legislature, sarpanch also included in the list.

The Jammu and Kashmir administration has released another list related to the Roshni Act scam. The name of a BJP leader is also included in this list for the first time.

Although his name is not directly included. It is none other than BJP leader Ranbir Singh Pathania, former MLA from Ramnagar.

Apart from this, the names of former PDP legislature, businessmen, and sarpanches are also included in the list.

In the public list, the name of Bhupendra Singh, who lives in Ramnagar, is recorded. He has now died. His son is named in the list along with his two sons, one of which is former Ramnagar MLA Advocate Ranbir Singh Pathania.

Late Bhupendra Singh Pathania son Jagdev Singh Pathania had registered 9 Kanal 14 marle agricultural land in Kehal village of Majalata under his name. He acquired all this land for only 970 rupees.

After the death of Bhupendra Singh, this land was given to his two sons. Pathania won the Ramnagar assembly seat for the BJP in the 2014 elections.

Apart from this, the name of the former People’s Democratic Party (PDP) legislature is also included in this list. He too has died now. He had taken possession of six kanals of land in the Siddhra area of ​​Jammu under this Act.

On this land, he has set up a mobile tower. Not only this, there are many famous businessmen of Jammu and Srinagar in this list who have occupied government land worth crores of rupees due to political access.

Ajit Katyal, Rashpal Singh, Rampal included in this list illegally occupied three marle lands in Chowdi and built shops on them.

Apart from them, Chetan Singh, Chiktan Singh, Naseeb Singh, and Prem Singh occupied four kanals of land in Chauadi and built commercial and residential projects on it.

Similarly, another businessman Sadiq Malik has encroached 11 kanals of land in Sunjwan for commercial construction.

Nisar Hussain, a sarpanch of District Ganderbal who is a retired government employee, has also taken illegal possession of more than two canals of government land at three places besides availing the Roshni Act.

He has taken this possession in village Lari of Kangan Tehsil.

At the same time, Ghulam Qadir, who retired from the SHO post from the Police Department, has also illegally occupied 10 marla land in Kangan’s village Tangchiter besides the Roshni Act.
