A total of 71 deaths and 37 people have been injured as a result of these attacks and these include both doctors and patients.

The Russo-Ukraine War is an international armed conflict to which the Geneva Convention applies.

After World War II the Geneva Conventions set out the basic rights of civilians and military personnel and established protections for the wounded and sick.

According to the Media report, it was also ratified by the then Soviet Union in 1954.

Under Article 18 of the Geneva Conventions, a civilian hospital cannot be attacked under any circumstances. 

When it comes to the violation of this rule, it can be investigated by the International Criminal Court and found war criminals can be prosecuted and punished.
