Salahuddin’s Sons Were Fueling Terrorism With Hawala Money

Salahuddin’s sons were fueling terrorism with hawala money, throwing such Kashmiri youth into the fire of terrorism.

Hizbul Mujahideen’s leader Mohammad Yusuf Shah alias Syed Salahuddin is undoubtedly hiding in Pakistan.

But his two sons were nurturing his terrorist legacy in Jammu and Kashmir by getting money from the hawala network.

They did not pick up the gun themselves but gave money to other Kashmiri youth to pick up guns and kill innocent Kashmiris.

They were fully active in terror funding to further the agenda of their father and his terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen.

Salahuddin’s two sons, Syed Ahmed Shakeel and Shahid Yusuf are among the most wanted terrorists.

They are among the 11 government officials who were recently thrown out of government service by the Jammu and Kashmir administration on the basis of their involvement in sedition.

Named in the list of Global Terrorists by the United States, Salahuddin is a prominent terrorist on the National Investigation Agency’s (NIA) Most Wanted list.

He had fled to Pakistan only in 1990 and since then he is hiding there and running terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir.

Thieves came from door to door in government jobs:

Sources said that the anti-national activities of both Salahuddin’s sons were already known to the agencies concerned.

But the earlier regime in Jammu and Kashmir had given them exemption due to some reasons. The files sent for action on the basis of evidence against both were always suppressed.

Syed Ahmed Shakeel Shere was posted as a lab technician in Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (Saura) in 1990 from the back door.

He raised financial help for the terrorists about six times and brought money to them. Salahuddin’s second son Shahid Yusuf was also appointed in the Agriculture Department in the year 2007.

For promoting terrorist violence and separatist activities in Kashmir, he has received money about nine times through hawala and other means.

Had gone to Dubai by writing the father’s wrong name:

Sources said that Shahid Yusuf had gone to Dubai on the basis of passport during 1999-2000. Father’s name Yusuf Mir was written on his passport while the name should have been Syed Mohammad Yusuf.

Nasir Mir was also with him. Nasser runs Hizbul’s financial network based in Dubai. It was in Dubai that Shahid Yusuf met his father Salahuddin.

He also met Nazir Ahmed Qureshi in Dubai, who ran hawala networks from Saudi Arabia and London and arranged money for terrorist activities in India.

Nazir Ahmed Qureshi is originally from Baramulla in North Kashmir.

Used to get money by preparing different identity cards:

Shahid Yusuf has received money from Ejaz Ahmed Butt alias Ejaz Maqbool Butt several times. Ejaz Butt is counted among Salahuddin’s close friends.

Shahid used to get money from Ejaz by preparing different identity cards (IDs) to avoid the eyes of the security agencies.

Ejaz Ahmed is also one of the dreaded commanders of Hizbul Mujahideen, who fled to Ghulam Kashmir in 1990.

He is handling the responsibility of depositing money from various sources to the terrorists of Hizbul Mujahideen operating in Jammu and Kashmir.

Ejaz used to send Shahid through Western Union money transfer using addresses from Saudi Arabia at different places. Shahid, working in the Agriculture Department, used this money for terrorists.

Both sons are in Tihar Jail:

Syed Ahmed Shakeel Shere, while serving as a lab technician in Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, was cleverly executing the terror funding.

The reality of Shakeel, who took a salary from the government treasury, was revealed when the NIA took over the investigation of the terror funding case registered by the Special Cell of Delhi Police.

In its investigation, the NIA exposed the entire exploit of Syed Ahmed Shakeel on the basis of facts and evidence.

Both the sons of Salahuddin are currently lodged in Tihar Jail. Charges have been framed against both of them only last year.
