Sardar Patel Death Anniversary is today the 70th death anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who was awarded the Bharat Ratna, breathed his last on December 15, 1950.
His huge statue has been installed near the Narmada River in Ahmedabad, Gujarat to pay tribute to his contribution to the unity and integrity of the country.
It is known as the Statue of Unity. It is claimed that it is the tallest statue in the world.
Many leaders, including PM Modi, have paid tribute to Sardar, who has become a symbol of unity throughout the country, on his death anniversary.

He further wrote that Sardar Saheb is a symbol of the unity and power of India, he solved an intricate India by solving complex problems. His steadfast leadership and national dedication will always guide us.
Assam (Assam) Education Minister Hemanta Viswa Sharma (Himanta Biswa Sarma) also remembered Sardar Patel on his birth anniversary.
