Security arrangements are in full swing for Republic Day. Instructions for verification of all tenants in view of Republic Day in Delhi, vehicles parked in parking are being checked.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Western District Police Subodh Kumar Goswami said that the station heads have been instructed to make the security arrangements tight.
All the SHOs have also been instructed to complete the work of verification of tenants expeditiously. Apart from this, the ownership status of the vehicles parked in the parking lot is also being ascertained.
It is being ensured by calling the vehicle owners whether the vehicle is in their possession at present or they have sold it.
If any vehicle is parked in the parking lot for more than a week and its owner is not known, then that vehicle is being immediately picked up and brought to the police station.
Parking owners have been instructed to install CCTV cameras at the entrance and inside the parking lot.
A special night Naka has also been set up in the district, in which police personnel along with paramilitary forces are conducting a search operation.
The suspicious vehicles are being stopped and searched. Appealing to the common people, Delhi police said that if anything suspicious is seen, immediately inform the police.
