Security Forces Got Success In Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada
Security forces got success in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada, two prize women Naxalites killed in an encounter.
Two prize women Naxalites were killed in an encounter between District Reserve Guard (DRG) personnel and Naxalites on Saturday morning at around 5.30 am in Gonderas forest of Aranpur police station area of Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh.
These include Hidme Kohrami, prize money of five lakh rupees, and Pojje with a prize of one lakh. In view of the presence of Naxalites in the area, the soldiers have intensified patrolling.
A reward of five lakh rupees was announced on one and one lakh rupees on the other.
According to the information received, 30 to 40 uniformed Naxalites were creating a ruckus in Phulpad on Friday night.
Alleging that they were the police informers, naxals had issued a letter to kill six villagers Sanjay, Singdi, Sona, Mai, Korri Bhima, and Bhima, residents of Mediumpara in Phulpad.
The villagers were in panic due to this. On the basis of the information, a team of DRG personnel was sent to the spot on Friday.
The Naxalites fled on the information of the arrival of the soldiers. The jawans chased them and a face-off took place in the forest of Gondras on Saturday morning.
The soldiers killed two women Naxalites in the encounter here.
Among them, Hidme was a member of the Malangir Area Committee while Pojje was a member of the Chetna Natya Mandali (CNM) of the Nilavaya area.
Security forces got success.
Dantewada SP Dr. Abhishek Pallav said that Nahari has been a stronghold of Naxalites till now but now the camp of soldiers has opened here.
Recruitment of Bastar Battalion is also going on. Most of these Naxalites are furious. The soldiers were sent only on the information of the riots of the Naxalites, in which there has been a great success.
