Security lapse of NSA Ajit Doval, 3 CISF commandos dismissed from service; Transfer of 2 officers including DIG.

Security was lax at the residence of NSA Ajit Doval earlier this year.

Three CISF commandos have been dismissed from service and two senior officers of the VIP security unit have been transferred in the security breach at the residence of the National Security Advisor.

Security officials gave this information on Wednesday. Ajit Doval enjoys the ‘Z Plus’ category Protectee security under the Central VIP Security List. They are given security cover by the SSG unit of CISF.

Security lapse of NSA Ajit Doval: Punitive action was taken in the Court of Inquiry.

The punitive action has been taken after the Court of Inquiry set up by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in the February 16 incident convicted 5 officers in different cases and recommended action against them.

Officials said three commandos of the Special Protection Group (SSG) have been dismissed from service.

This VVIP security unit is headed by a Deputy Inspector General (DIG) and a senior commandant of the rank of his second commandant has been transferred.

The incident happened on 16 February.

The breach in security took place on February 16 at around 7.30 am, when a man from Bengaluru tried to drive his car into the high-security house of NSA Ajit Doval in central Delhi.

The three sacked commandos were present at the NSA residence as part of security arrangements that day. The man was stopped outside the residence and handed over to Delhi Police.

A database of information about the arrested persons involved in drug dealing has been prepared and put into practice.

This will go a long way in enforcing the laws made for the prevention of drugs at the national and state level agencies. This information was given by a news agency.

This portal named Nidan (National Integrated Database on Arrested Narco Offenders) has been prepared by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

This is part of a campaign against the drug trade system in the country.
