Services Sector Down, Uday Kotak takes over as CII president. Veteran banker Uday Kotak has taken over as the president of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for 2020-21, the chamber said on Wednesday.

Kotak, MD, and President of Kotak Mahindra Bank take over from Vikram Kirloskar, chairman and managing director of Kirloskar Systems  Ltd and vice-chairman of Toyota Kirloskar Engine. TV Narendran, CEO and managing director of Tata Steel Limited is presently the president-assign of CII for 2020-21, it said. Sanjiv Bajaj has taken over as CII VP for 2020-21. He is the executive and overseeing chief of Bajaj Finserv Limited.
