Shri Amarnath Yatra Online Registration Will Start From April

Shri Amarnath Yatra online registration will start from April, 20 thousand devotees will be able to register every day.

There is good news for the devotees of Baba Amarnath Ji. The pilgrims visiting the annual Amarnath Yatra will be able to get the Yatra registration done very soon.

Shri Amarnath Shrine Board will start the facility of online travel registration for pilgrims in April. Every day more than twenty thousand devotees will be able to register to go on the yatra through both routes.

Orders have been issued to start snow clearance work on the holy cave and the yatra track. This work will be started from next week.

Giving information about this, Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) Additional CEO Rahul Singh said that from April, devotees will be able to register for the Yatra through online mode.

RFID-based tracking will be done for the vehicular movement of devotees coming to see Baba Amarnath Ji, who is seated in the holy cave in South Kashmir.

Devotees willing to go on the Yatra will be able to register online through banks in April. The limit of 20,000 registrations per day has been fixed.

A high-level meeting was also held under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Jammu Raghav Langar to review the travel arrangements.

In this meeting held late on Thursday, it was also decided that after the commencement of the yatra, devotees can also get on-spot registration done by visiting the designated registration counters.

Additional CEO Rahul Singh said that the board has since taken several effective steps to ensure the safety of Amarnath pilgrims.

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) will be used to track the movement of vehicles and pilgrims during this year’s Yatra. He said that RFID tag cards would be issued to all the devotees.

Divisional Commissioner Raghav Langar also directed all the DCs to install an adequate number of toilets, water coolers on the route for the convenience of the devotees visiting Baba Amarnath Yatra.
