Sim card-mobile phone recovered once again from Kot Bhalwal Jail, Read: How long has this jail been in the headlines before in Jammu Kashmir.

Kot Bhalwal Jail of Jammu, which is among the most sensitive jails in the country, is once again in the headlines. CID, CI Wing conducted raids from this jail and recovered mobile phones and SIM cards from there.

These mobile phones and SIM cards were being used by inmates in jail for a long time, some of whom were also running the business of history-sheeter.

After a case of firing outside the house of Jammu’s well-known contractor Nagar Singh,  it was found that Gurpreet and Kuldeep, two staff members of Kot Bhalwal Jail, are also supporting Royal Singh.

With the help of these two staff members, he used his mobile phone from jail. Ordering the operatives. A total of 16 people, including both jail personnel, were arrested by the police in this shootout.

It is being told that Jammu and Kashmir Counter Intelligence has raided the jail on Sunday and recovered the SIM and mobile phones from there under the guise of Kuldeep Kumar, the accused.

Right now the police are not denying the connivance of some other officers and personnel of the jail in this matter. This is not the first case that a mobile phone or SIM card has been found in this highly sensitive prison.

Earlier in the year 2019 also, mobile phones and SIM cards have been recovered from the prisoners from the same jail.

Whereas earlier also in 2006, the entire jail department was shaken due to the receipt of mobile phones from the prisoners. At that time, many jail officers and staff members were heavily assaulted.

Terrorists like Masood Azhar have also been kept in Kot Bhalwal Jail. Presently, more than five hundred prisoners are lodged in this jail, including some Pakistanis.

In such a situation, security agencies are considering these incidents of getting SIM and mobile phones from jail.
