Sony Introduced The World’s First QD OLED TV

Sony introduced the world’s first QD OLED TV, know what is special.

Sony has introduced the world’s first quantum dot (QD) OLED TV A95K. Sony has launched two QD OLED Smart TVs in 55-inch and 65-inch screen sizes. 4K resolution has been given in both smart TVs.

It was expected that the first QD OLED 4K TV will be introduced by Samsung at CES 2022.

But in this case, Sony has won and thus Sony has become the world’s first company to introduce QD OLED Smart TV.

The first lineup of Micro LED TVs has also been announced by Sony. The price and availability of all these smart TVs will be announced next month.

What is QD OLED Technology-

QD OLED display technology is a combination of OLED and MicroLED. In this, the merits of both the technologies have been introduced.

In QD-OLED technology, blue OLED is used with a quantum dot, creating more saturated green and red.

Also, this will help in presenting Smart TV with a better display at an affordable price. At present, Samsung company sells OLED and MicroLED displays.

Vivid color reproduction at higher brightness levels will be seen in this new QD OLED technology with great brightness. Apart from this, you will get to enjoy perfect blacks and infinite contrast.

Sony used to source many types of displays from the LG company. But now the Sony company is working on its own innovative display.

Also, its smart TV series A95K and A90K are focusing heavily on OLED. The A95K will have four HDMI inputs.

All of Sony’s latest OLED smart TVs will support 4K gaming at 120Hz, auto HDR tone mapping, and auto low latency mode when connected to the PS5.
