Srinagar Encounter During Amarnath Yatra: The army said that an encounter started between terrorists and security forces in the Lidwas area of ​​Harwan in Srinagar on Monday.

According to the Chinar Corps of the Indian Army, the encounter has started in the Lidwas area, and the operation is still going on. Meanwhile, officials said that a joint team of police, army, and CRPF has launched a cordon and search operation in the forest area of ​​Mulnar near Mahadev.

He said that as soon as the security forces reached near the suspected place, the hidden terrorists started firing, after which the security forces also started retaliatory action.

Senior officers of the Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police have reached the spot to monitor the ongoing operation.
