Some unidentified attackers came close to the camp of 23 battalions of CRPF located in the Saraf Kadal area and escaped after attacking them with petrol bombs.

Before the security personnel caught the attackers, they took advantage of the darkness and disappeared from there.

Soon after the attack, teams of CRPF, army, and police reached there and started searching for the attackers. But nothing has been revealed.

At the same time, the police say that they have activated their information systems. Soon the people who attacked the camp will be traced.

Sources say that the attackers were not terrorists, but they may be underground workers working for them. At present, peace remains in the area.

Jammu Kashmir: Division Bench of High Court dismisses PSA.

The High Court’s Division Bench has rejected the PSA imposed on Riyaz Ahmed Bhatt. PSA was imposed on Bhatt by the Collector of Pulwama.

The Bench observed that while imposing PSA, the accused was denied constitutional rights on behalf of the officer concerned.

According to the case, two FIRs were registered against the accused of his involvement in anti-national activities.

The bench observed that the petitioner was not given any written documents in relation to the allegations before the imposition of PSA.

In such a situation, the accused did not get a chance to defend himself which was his constitutional right. The Bench dismissed the decision to impose PSA as wrong in the eyes of law.
