Taiwan Ministry said that China is provoking for war
The South China Morning Post quoted the ministry as saying that the most arrogant country could provoke war. The ministry further said that the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China is being repeatedly instigated for war. People of Taiwan are hurt by this act of PLA. They have anger towards China.
The ministry said that this trend of PLA is dangerous for the peace and stability of Taiwan Strait. Meanwhile, Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen said that we have the full understanding. We are closely monitoring the overall military situation in China. He assured the public that our army is capable of protecting national security.
Taiwan is increasing military strength
China has been constantly eyeing Taiwan. Taiwan is steadily increasing its military strength in view of tensions with China. Recently, China sent its fighter jets towards the Taiwan border, but all Chinese fighter jets fled after seeing Taiwan’s missiles. A week ago, Taiwan signed a deal with US arms manufacturer Lockheed to buy a $ 62 billion F-16 fighter jet to bolster military capability.
The deal will be completed in about 10 years. Following the deal, tensions between the US and China over Taiwan have increased significantly. China has always been telling Taiwan its share. Therefore, China has been opposing the arms deal to Taiwan.
Dragon deploys 40 thousand troops on Taiwan Strait
On the other hand, Dragon has deployed 40 thousand troops on Taiwan Strait to create military pressure on Taiwan. China has threatened that if Taiwan does not become a part of China politically, then it will seize it by force. Beijing military expert Zhou Chenming said the recent maneuvers are a political warning to the Taiwanese government. Hong Kong military expert Song Zhongping says China may conduct large-scale maneuvers before the US election in November.
