Talks between India and China on other matters including Eastern Ladakh: Ministry of External Affairs.
The 24th Working Mechanism for consultation and coordination was held on Tuesday on India-China border matters, in which all important issues were discussed.
Giving information about this meeting, the Ministry of External Affairs said-
‘The 2 sides reviewed the situation along the LAC in the western sector, India-China border areas, and exchanged views on the current situation along the LAC in the western sector, eastern Ladakh.
Further, the Ministry of External Affairs said, in this context, they would consider the next (16th) round of Senior Commanders’ Meeting to achieve the objective:
The objective of the meeting is complete disengagement from all friction points along the LAC in the Western Sector, in accordance with the existing bilateral agreements and protocols.
Both sides agreed to organize this meeting as soon as possible.

President Ram Nath Kovind presented gallantry awards to brave soldiers and their families at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday.
During this, SPO Shahbaz Ahmed was awarded the Shaurya Chakra (posthumously) by President, which was received by his father Abdul Aziz.
204 COBRA CRPF constable Vikas Kumar’s wife Nandini Devi and mother Kaleshiya were awarded the Shaurya Chakra (posthumously) by President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
204 COBRA CRPF Head Constable Ajit Singh was posthumously awarded the ‘Shaurya Chakra’ for which his wife Anita Devi received the Gallantry Award from President Ram Nath Kovind.
Kuldeep Kumar Urawan, Head Constable of 118 CRPF, Gund (J&K), was awarded the Shaurya Chakra (posthumously) at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi for his gallantry.
President Ram Nath Kovind presented this award to his wife Bandana Urawan.
