Target Killings In Kashmir: Seven Target Killings In 20 Days

Target Killings in Kashmir: seven target killings in 20 days. The decreasing number of terrorists in Kashmir is the main reason for target killing.

The increasing mental pressure on terrorists is behind the target killing every month in Kashmir.

If we look at the current figures, at present the number of terrorists operating in the Kashmir Valley has come down to less than 150.

However, the Jammu and Kashmir Police are aiming to bring down the number of active terrorists below 100 by the end of this year.

This is the reason why active terrorists are trying to raise their falling morale by carrying out target killings, as well as to include Kashmiri youth in terrorist organizations.

After the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, the state is slowly moving toward the path of progress.

Target Killings In Kashmir: If we talk about Kashmir at this time, then this time the number of tourists has increased four times as compared to the first few years.

Every hotel in Kashmir is fully booked for the last three months. The faces of businessmen associated with the tourism sector have blossomed.

Lakhs of tourists from India and abroad are coming to visit Kashmir. Here the bosses sitting across the border do not like it.

Since the number of terrorists currently active in Kashmir has come down to less than 150 and the youth of Kashmir have understood very well that by following the path of terrorism, they will get nothing more than destruction.

New recruitment in terrorist organizations has also become nominal now. For this reason, the remaining terrorists are now engaged in creating fear among the people by resorting to target killing.

According to Kashmir’s IG Vijay Kumar, by the end of April this year, 64 terrorists have been successful in killing them. In April, 23 terrorists were killed in 14 encounters in the state.

He said that at present the number of terrorists operating in Kashmir has come down to less than 150. A target has been set to bring this number down to 100 by the end of this year.

He said that the police and security agencies are working on a comprehensive strategy to stop the targeted killing in Kashmir and soon its positive results will be seen.
