The Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB), which manages major temples in the Travancore region of Kerala, has issued a new circular banning the activities of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in temple premises and its properties.
As per the roundabout gave by the Devaswom Magistrate, ‘Namjapa fights’ (fights by reciting mantras) have been prohibited inside the premises of its sanctuaries.
It has been said that movements of every sort of RSS and other such philosophical associations without authorization have been restricted.
