Terrorist Arrested With Weapons In Bandipora, Kashmir

Terrorist arrested with weapons in Bandipora, Kashmir, was busy recruiting new terrorists.

Continuing their counter-insurgency operation, security forces on Saturday arrested a recycled Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Imtiaz alias Inna Bhai in Bandipore, North Kashmir.

An assault rifle, two magazines of an assault rifle, and 59 cartridges of assault rifle have also been recovered from him.

Recycled terrorists are said to be those who are released after surrendering to the security forces or after being caught and jailed.

They lead a normal life for some time and then take up arms again and active in a terrorist organization. 

A police spokesman said that a joint working group of Army and Police today raided a particular place in Bandipora on information about the hiding of terrorists.

The soldiers caught the terrorist hiding there without giving any chance of rescue. He has been identified as Imtiaz Ahmed Baig alias Inna Bhai.

He is a resident of Beg Mohalla Fatehpora in Baramulla. Inna was active again in Lashkar sometime back.

He was entrusted with the task of re-strengthening the Lashkar network in Bandipora and recruiting new terrorists. At present, his interrogation is going on.

SIA and police officers raid on four locations including a madrassa in Poonch

Police and the SIA on Saturday raided four locations, including a madrasa, in the Poonch district after receiving clues that the Lashkar-e-Taiba and Al Badr had supplied hawala money.

Bank details, digital devices, mobile phones, and other documents were seized.

Let us inform you that in the interrogation of a hawala trader including a terrorist arrested from Jammu and Delhi, many big clues about the terrorist networks have been found.

According to the information, last Saturday morning at around 6 am, the district police officers under the leadership of SIA raided the Jamia Jia Ullum Madrasa in district Poonch.

There the bank details and other documents were closely examined and confiscated. Mobile phone call details were checked.

Documents, digital equipment, and mobile phones were seized in three other places including the residence of Maulvi Saeed.

During this, the director of the madrasa and many other people were found missing.

Apart from this, in the afternoon, the team of the State Investigation Agency also raided the house of terrorist Abdul Hameed Mir, who was arrested from the Jammu bus stand.
