Terrorists In UP: 40 suspects with links to Al Qaeda terrorists identified, 13 untraceable.

The list of people who have links with Al Qaeda terrorists is growing. In the investigation so far, 40 such people have been identified in the city, who had contacts with the terrorists.

However, the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has been able to interrogate only 27 of these people now and the remaining 13 suspects are missing.

The ATS is trying to trace these missing suspects and is also gathering information about the helpful contacts of the terrorists.

The ATS had arrested five al-Qaeda terrorists recently. In the call detail report of the mobile phones of the five terrorists, 40 numbers related to Kanpur were revealed, which had talks with the terrorists.

Out of these, ATS has questioned 27 people.

Barring three, all the remaining suspects have been released. According to ATS sources, 13 suspects were not found at their homes. As soon as the news of the arrest of Al Qaeda terrorists disappeared.

Sleeper cell was searching in rural areas through Jamaat.

Al Qaeda terrorist Minhaj Ahmed was working on a plan to develop sleeper cells in rural areas. For this, he used to establish a Jamaat in rural areas by calling himself a Maulana and instigate people religiously.

This conspiracy has been exposed in the pamphlets cut by the ATS after investigation.

According to the pamphlets which were cut during the investigation, a relative of Minhaj was involved in the blast in Jatan locality of Bijnor in the year 2013.

After the founding of Ansar Gazwatul Hind, in 2010, Minhaj met Umar Halmandi in Delhi.

After a two-month-long investigation in the case of becoming the head of the gangster, finally, the SSP took action to line up four people along with the Bhagatpur station in charge.

In this matter, the DIG got the investigation done by the ASP of Bijnor district.

After the investigation report of the ASP, action was taken to line up the Bhagatpur police station in charge, a sub-inspector as well as two constables.

However, after being dissatisfied with the preliminary investigation of Moradabad police, in this case, the DIG had ordered the investigation to the ASP of Bijnor district.
