Pro-Pakistan terrorists on Wednesday killed a female TV star Amreen Butt at her house in Hushru in central Kashmir’s Budgam district and seriously injured her 10-year-old nephew.
The terrorists fled after the incident, and to nab them, the police launched a search operation. Amreen used to release her videos frequently on Instagram and Tiktok.
She has also acted in a few serials telecasted from Srinagar Doordarshan Kendra and in albums of some Kashmiri songs.
According to the information, Amreen Butt’s daughter Khajir Mohammad Butt was sitting in her house at around eight o’clock in the evening near Hushru, adjacent to Chadoora.
Meanwhile, someone knocked on his door. When his relatives opened the door, three terrorists forcibly entered inside. On seeing Amrin Butt, they fired bullets at him.
Amrin Butt and her 10-year-old nephew were badly injured in the attack. Considering both of them dead, the terrorists fled from there.

According to the police, the three terrorists involved in the killing of Amreen have been identified. He is associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba’s hit squad TRF.
Meanwhile, former Chief Minister and National Conference vice-president Omar Abdullah condemned the terror attack on Amreen Butt saying that the attack on any woman and child was not justified.
