The BS Yeddyurappa government in Karnataka, which has long been an arena of political wrangling, has been mired in rumors despite a majority.

The role of Yuvraj Swami alias Sevlal of Banjara Math, Karnataka, arrested on charges of cheating in rumors of leadership change, is yet to come true. Actually, Sevlal has been roaming in the corridors of power.

He has been telling about his closeness to RSS. He has also reportedly claimed that he has access to the top leadership in the BJP.

The chief minister’s post is at the tip of his finger. He also kept telling some leaders that change would happen very soon.

Bengaluru’s politics got heated on Sunday when many such photos were made public, in which Sevlal, who was caught by the police in the case of cheating, was seen with many politicians.

Among them, besides Congress organization general secretary KC Venugopal.

several BJP leaders included Deputy Chief Minister of the state Laxman Savadi, Murugesh Nirani, and CP Yogeshwar, who were ministers in Yeddyurappa’s previous government.

State Chief Minister Yeddyurappa said that no one should be taken under suspicion from the photo of politicians along with the accused.

The BJP leaders with whom Sevalal’s pictures have been made public are not counted among Yeddyurappa’s confidants. Among them, Laxman Savadi was brought to the Legislative Council and made Deputy Chief Minister.

The arrest of Yuvraj Swami: He also comes from the same Lingayat community, which is not only the most effective, but the Chief Minister also belongs to the same community.

Many other leaders are longing for the post of minister. Currently, Sevlal is arrested in the case of cheating. It is believed that many such cases may come up in the investigation which will increase the political heat in the state.

There is a consensus among the Karnataka BJP top leadership that at present there is no alternative to Yeddyurappa and there is a lack of universal acceptance among the second-line leaders.

Yet, there has been constant leadership change and go-to speculation with JDS. Apparently, BJP’s internal politics have not stopped, so Sevalal can open a few layers.
