The encounter between security forces and terrorists in Anantnag and Kulgam, two terrorists were killed.

There has been an encounter between security forces and terrorists at two places in the Dooru area of Shahbad and Kulgam district falling under the Anantnag district of South Kashmir.

In this, two terrorists were killed and one police personnel is reported to be injured. He has been admitted to the local hospital.

At present, intermittent firing is going on from both sides. Terrorists are trying to escape by taking advantage of the darkness of night, but they are now difficult to escape.

Jammu and Kashmir Police said that two unidentified terrorists were gunned down in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in the Mirhama area of Kulgam district.

The operation continues. IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that the encounter is going on at two places in two districts i.e. Anantnag and Kulgam.

So far one terrorist has been killed in the Kulgam encounter. Both the operations are in progress.

According to the information received, the police got information about the hiding of terrorists in the Dooru area of Anantnag.

As soon as the information was received, the police, army, and CRPF personnel gave a joint search operation area.

Seeing the terrorists surrounding themselves, they started firing on the security forces. First, the security forces asked the hiding terrorists to surrender.

But they did not agree and continued firing. During this, a policeman was also injured. After that, the security forces started a fierce attack. No one is being allowed to go towards the encounter site.

It is not clear how many terrorists are hiding. However, one to two terrorists are expected to be surrounded. The possibility of terrorists being a new terrorist organization also cannot be ruled out.

However, it is clear from the attitude of the security forces against the terrorist that the terrorists will be killed late at night. Detailed information is still awaited.
