Threat from Tehreek-e-Taliban looms large in Pakistan, alert issued for a terrorist attack in Islamabad: Pakistan.

Pakistan itself, which gives shelter to terrorists, is currently struggling with terrorist activities. In view of this, a high alert has been issued in Islamabad amidst the possibility of a terrorist attack.

The International newspaper reported that Islamabad’s Inspector General of Police (IGP) Akbar Nasir Khan issued strict orders to keep security on high alert to maintain law and order in the capital.

All security personnel should be equipped with safety equipment.

IGP Islamabad directed all the officers to remain present in their respective areas and also gave various information regarding the duty to the officers.

He said that the officers on duty should be equipped with full security equipment and keep a close watch on government and private vehicles, ambulances, and suspicious persons.

According to the leading newspaper, Akbar Nasir said that strict action should be taken against unregistered vehicles/motorcycles.

Instructions to further tighten the security of Red Zone, Diplomatic Enclave.

Keeping in view the security, Akbar Nasir said that the ongoing crackdown against professional beggars and their helpers across the city should be intensified.

He further said that the security of the Red Zone and Diplomatic Enclave should be made more strict.

Akbar Nasir ordered that the entry of vehicles without patterned number plates and tinted glasses be banned.

‘Maintaining law and order in the capital is a top priority.

Akbar also directed that the checking of uniformed personnel and security guards at the pickets or entrance gates of the capital be made mandatory.

According to an International newspaper, the IGP said that the Islamabad Capital Police is always engaged in protecting the life and property of the citizens.

Also maintaining law and order in the federal capital Islamabad is the top priority of the Islamabad Capital Police.

Tehreek-e-Taliban can be a threat.

Citing a US Institute of Peace (USIP) report, the news agency reported that amid Pakistan’s economic crisis and Taliban rule in Afghanistan, the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) re-emerged as a potential threat to Islamabad.

The report released by the US Institute of Peace (USIP) in Washington warned, “Amidst Pakistan’s economic crisis and the Taliban regime in Afghanistan.

The TTP has re-emerged as an increasingly potent threat.” Strict orders have been issued to keep security on high alert.
