Threats to blow up Bangalore schools have connections with Pakistan and Syria, know what the police revealed.

A big disclosure has come to light today regarding the fake threat to blow up more than 14 schools in Bangalore.

Police sources probing the matter confirmed on Saturday that the emails to schools were sent from Syria and Pakistan.

Police officials have taken all this development as terrorism and cyber attack against the nation.

A case has been registered under the Information Technology (IT) Act 66(f) in this regard.

This section is imposed on any person who intends to endanger the unity, integrity, security, or sovereignty of India or to spread terror to any section of the people.

Let us tell you that on April 8, an email threatening to blow up schools located on the outskirts of Bengaluru had come, causing panic among the people of the state.

Threats to blow up Bangalore schools: CM said – strict action will be taken against the culprits.

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that he would speak to the Bengaluru Police Commissioner in this regard.

He said that “I do not have any input in this regard but serious action will be initiated against the culprits.” These incidents are happening to disturb the peace in society.

This happened last year and even earlier. Bommai said that there are some instances where our officials have acted in such cases and arrested the accused after consulting the authorities of the respective countries.

The investigation is being done in collaboration with central agencies.

Police said that on the basis of technical analysis, important information about the case is being collected so that the suspects will be traced soon.

Radical elements may have a hand.

Officials suspect that the emails were sent by radical elements against the backdrop of developments like the hijab controversy, halal controversy, and ban on Muslim traders in the state.

The miscreants had sent bomb threats to the official email ids of the schools.

Initially, threats were received against Ebenezer International School located in the Hebbagodi police station area, and Vincent Pallotti International School located in the Henoor police station area.

The rest were also revealed later, one of the threatening messages read, “A powerful bomb has been planted in your school, note this is not a joke.”
