Tricolor Will Be Hoisted In Every House In Telangana

Tricolor will be hoisted in every house in Telangana, the government will distribute 1.20 crore flags for Independence Day celebrations.

Ahead of the country’s 75th Independence Day celebrations, the Telangana government has decided to celebrate Swatantra Bharat Vajrootsav Bi VII, two weeks and seven days before and on the same day after August 15.

The government will also distribute one crore 20 lakh national flags to be hoisted throughout.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has directed the concerned officials to organize programs emphasizing patriotism.

Also educate the new generations about freedom fighters, their sacrifices, and the consequences of the national freedom struggle, an official release said on Saturday night.

The national flag is to be hoisted at every house.

“CM KCR has said that the national flag should be hoisted at every house in the state,” the release said. For this 1.20 crore tricolor flags will be made available.

He directed the officers to organize flag hoisting, sports events, essay writing, Kavi Sammelan, and cultural programs from house to house so that nationalism could be communicated.

Speaking on the occasion, KCR said, ‘The present generation should be familiar with the freedom struggle, sacrifices, erstwhile national leaders and martyrs in the struggle.

Every Telangana citizen should participate in the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of Independence Day and The message of the glory of India as an India should be spread.

Instructions to officers.

He directed the officers to order the handloom and power loom workers of Gadwal, Narayanpet, Sirisila, Pochampally, Bhongir, and Warangal to make flags.

Chief Minister gave instructions to the Chief Secretary.

The Chief Minister directed the Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to take all necessary steps to hoist the national flag at all populated places, bus stations, railway stations, cinema halls, shopping malls, star hotels of cities, and major traffic junctions to show the spirit of patriotism.

KCR directed the officers to take steps under the supervision of Panchayat Raj and Municipal Administration departments to light the diamond jubilee flame from villages to towns.

The Chief Minister also suggested MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and Chief Secretary level officers including Sarpanch level public representatives print the national flag symbol on their official letter pads.

Appeal to media houses to broadcast special programs on patriotism.

KCR appealed to the media houses to display the national flag on the screen and publish the tricolor flag on their mastheads during the 15 days of the celebration.

He requested media companies to air special programs on patriotism.
