Two Hindu Organizations Appeal To SC Regarding Hate Speech

Two Hindu organizations appeal to the Supreme Court regarding the hate speech, seeking direction to take action against these leaders including Owaisi.

Two Hindu organizations have also reached the Supreme Court in the case of hate speeches.

An intervention application has been filed on behalf of Hindu organizations seeking permission to represent them in the matter as well.

In the application, there has been a demand for an investigation by the SIT into the hate speeches against Hindus and their deities.

One application has been filed by the Hindu Front for Justice and the other by Hindu Sena.

Demand for action.

The Hindu Front for Justice has also given links to hate speeches made by Muslim leaders in the application.

Hindu Sena national president Vishnu Gupta has demanded action by registering an FIR against Muslim leaders Asaduddin Owaisi, Tauqir Raza, Sajid Rashidi, Amanatullah Khan, and Waris Pathan for giving hate speeches in the application.

Hate speeches case pending.

There is already a case of hate speeches pending in the Supreme Court.

The court had on January 12 issued notices to the Central Government, Delhi Police, and Uttarakhand Police on a petition filed by journalist Kurban Ali and retired Patna High Court judge and senior advocate Anjana Prakash.

In that petition, citing hate speeches in Haridwar and Delhi’s Dharma Sansad, an SIT has been demanded. Hindu organizations have filed intervention applications in this pending matter.

Incidents should be investigated.

Hindu Front for Justice through advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain has filed an application on behalf of President Ranjana Agnihotri. Two other people are also petitioners in this.

The organization has also demanded in the application that the incidents of making hate speech against the spirit of the Constitution and the integrity of the country should be investigated.

The investigation should be done by SIT.

It has been said in the petition that the hate speeches given against Hindus and Hindu gods and goddesses should be investigated by the SIT.

The court should issue appropriate orders to stop the leaders of the Muslim community from spreading hatred and violence against Hindus.

The application refers to the hate speeches made against Hindus by several Muslim leaders.

In this video, links have been given to speeches of many people like Muslim missionary Zakir Naik, AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi, Akbaruddin Owaisi, Waris Pathan, Aam Aadmi Party leader Amanatullah Khan, Tauqir Raza, Sajid Rashidi, etc.

It has been said in the application that every citizen of India is entitled to equal protection before the law.

Therefore, the Court should not look at the concept of majority and minority while analyzing hate speeches.

Raised the issue of religious freedom.

This matter is related to the general public and considering the scope of judicial review of the matter, the court should allow the petitioner to intervene in this matter.

The Hindu Sena, in an application filed through advocate Barun Kumar Sinha, has demanded action against Muslim leaders who made hate speeches by registering a case.

The issue of religious freedom guaranteed under Article 25 of the Constitution has also been raised in the petition.
