Upgraded Saranga Cannon Will Be deployed In Ladakh valley

Upgraded Saranga cannon will be deployed in Ladakh valley, enemies will not be able to survive in front of firepower.

Madhya Pradesh-based automobile manufacturer Jabalpur (VFJ) has recently handed over the army by upgrading the old 130 mm Sarang cannon to 155 mm.

Now the Ministry of Defense has given instructions to the Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) to fulfill the Army’s urgent requirement.

The responsibility of upgrading a total of 280 old Sarang cannons has been entrusted to the VFJ instead of just two factories.

Instead of 28 in the advanced Sarang cannon, 38 km of unmatched firepower has also convinced the military personnel and officers.

so the army has prepared this cannon in the Ladakh Valley to give a befitting reply to the enemies of the country.

Significantly, OFB had jointly entrusted the Gun Carriage Factory (GCF) and VFJ to upgrade the old cannons about one and a half years ago.

After this, the VFJ and GCF worked to upgrade all the parts of the old guns by opening and replacing the barrels.

Board headquarters, now relieved of this task, is planning to make the Dhanush Cannon (155mm / 45 caliber) even better, along with a new job.

So doing the advanced: Upgraded cannon targeting has increased by about 10 km and destroyers (firepower).

This feature of Sarang: Upgraded Saranga cannon is capable of attacking targets accurately. This state-of-the-art cannon is still very light in weight.

This cannon can be transported from here to there quickly by attaching (towing) or pushing it to any vehicle.

Thoughts on making engines: The military officers have now discussed with the Ministry of Defense the need to make them engines engineered after seeing the great performance of the upgraded Sarang cannon.

VFJ PRO Rajiv Kumar Aggarwal said that on the instructions of OFB, there are plans to upgrade 280 Sarang cannon in this factory.
