Army arrested the main terrorists of the Narco-terror case, a non-stop joint operation going on for 72 hours.
J&K: In the ongoing operation in the Sunderbani Narcotics Recovery case, several joint operations have been conducted by the Indian Army, J&K Police, and Sunderbani Police in the Poonch district within the last 72 hours.
Army arrested the main terrorists of the Narco-terror case: Three operatives were arrested.
Lt Col Devender Anand informed that three key operatives of the cross-border narco-terror module have been apprehended by the security forces.
The apprehended persons have been identified as Noordeen s/o Shekar Deen r/o Degwar Terwan village, Rashid s/o Badardin, and Shafir s/o Mohammad Hussain r/o Kalas village, District Poonch (Jammu and Kashmir).
Weapons were also recovered.
In the search operation, two hand grenades have also been recovered from the possession of these people.
This massive joint search operation is still going on. The apprehension of these three persons is a major blow to the complex cross-border narco-terror nexus operating from PoK.
