BMW has launched the X3 M40i xDrive SUV in the Indian market today. Let us tell you, the price of this car is 86.50 lakhs (ex-showroom).
This is the first time the German auto giant is introducing the X3 SUV with the M badging.
The SUV will be sold through the Completely Built-Up (CBU) route in India. The vehicle manufacturer started booking this car last month. If you want to buy this car, you can book it for just Rs 5 lakh.
This SUV is powered by a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder turbocharged engine that generates 360 hp of power and 500 Nm of peak torque.
The X3 M40i xDrive SUV is one of the most powerful models offered by the German carmaker in India. The first BMW X3 M40i xDrive leads in the line of the sporty, modern BMW X3.
Let us tell you, the all-wheel drive SUV will come with a 48V mild hybrid system. Transmission duties will be handled by BMW’s 8-speed automatic transmission.
The SUV can accelerate from a standstill to 100 kmph in just under five seconds. The X3 M Edition will come with a top speed of 250 kmph.
In terms of safety, it will get six airbags, ABS with brake assist, dynamic traction control, dynamic stability control, cornering brake control, electric parking brake with auto hold, and electronic vehicle immobilizer.
It also gets driver attention assistance and crash sensors as some passive safety features.
