Charge sheet against two including Pak national in Indian Navy espionage racket: NIA.
Chargesheets have been filed against two people in Andhra Pradesh for spying on the Indian Navy earlier this year. One of them is a Pakistani citizen and the other an Indian.
An NIA spokesperson said that the charge sheet has been filed against Akash Solanki (21) of Uttar Pradesh and absconding Pakistani operative Mir Balaj Khan under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and PMLA in the special NIA court at Vijayawada.

This espionage case was earlier registered at the Counter Intelligence Cell police station in Vijayawada.
After this, on June 5, the NIA re-registered this case and till now two people including Solanki have been arrested in this case.
An NIA spokesperson said Solanki, who worked as an Electrical Artificer Radio Apprentice (EAC) at the Naval Dockyard in Visakhapatnam, had sent out highly classified information related to warships and submarines of the Indian Navy.
What did the investigators find?
He was passing this information on to suspected Pakistani spies, one of whom revealed to him her identity as “Aditi Chauhan”. Other spies are unknown.
According to the NIA, the investigators found that Solanki was also receiving some amount as compensation from another Pakistani spy, Mir Balaj Khan.
Investigation revealed that Khan’s ID is Pakistani. But this Pakistani agent is absconding despite being a part of the espionage racket.
