India’s Vigilant Defense: Warships Guard the Red Sea Against Pirate Threats.

India’s Vigilant Defense: India made strict arrangements near the Red Sea to control pirates, and deployed a dozen warships.

India has deployed at least a dozen warships to the east of the Red Sea to protect against pirates. Indian officials have said more than 250 ships have been examined.

This action has been taken keeping in mind the attacks by Iran-backed Houthi. India has not joined the US-led task force for the Red Sea and has no warships there.

But officials said it currently has two front-line warships in the Gulf of Aden and at least 10 in the northern and western Arabian Sea. Along with this, there are also surveillance planes.
