Karnataka: Church father booked for sexually abusing minor, police gets 14-day remand.

Church priest Father Francis Fernandes has been booked under POCSO for sexually abusing a minor in a church-affiliated college.

Father Francis was produced before the court and sent to judicial custody for 14 days. This information has been given by the Shivamogga police.

On the other hand, members of the Banjara community protested outside the police station in Shivamogga against the priest of the church for allegedly sexually abusing a minor of their community.
