A military court has sentenced a soldier to 10 years in prison for passing on information about the northern border to Pakistani embassy personnel.

In fact, a soldier was caught passing secret information to an employee of the Pakistani embassy in the national capital Delhi about military activities along the northern border.

After this, taking strict action against the soldier, a military court of the army sentenced him to more than 10 years.

Defense officials said a court martial presided over by a woman officer sentenced a soldier to 10 years and 10 months in prison after he was caught passing classified information to a Pakistani spy.

Explain that this soldier was in contact with Abid Hussain alias Naik Abid, a Pakistani national working in the High Commission of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the national capital Delhi.

The accused provided much information.

The list of documents provided by the soldier to the enemy’s spy agency included the guard duty list of that formation.

The constable had tried to give the list of movement of vehicles in view of the Covid lockdown as well as information related to the vehicles of the formation.

However, only scant information was available to the soldier.
