Visakhapatnam police get huge success, arrests three Naxalites: Andhra Pradesh. Three Maoists have been arrested in the Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh during the Corona period. The Visakhapatnam police have sent three Naxals, including one Commander Bonangi Nageswara Rao, on remand.
According to the police, the arrested Naxal had been working as CPI Maoist commander since 2005 and was involved in several cases of murder, landmine blast, and extortion among other crimes. Two other Naxalites who were arrested at the same time have been identified with G. Rachandra Pasal and S. Apparao. They both used to threaten government officials and villagers in the area.
ASI’s body recovered in Chhattisgarh
Explain that earlier on 31 August, the body of the missing ASI was recovered from Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district. It is feared that the incident has been carried out by the Maoists by kidnapping the ASI. It is being told that an assistant sub-inspector posted here had taken the vanguard two days ago.
After this, the police were continuously engaged in his detection. The Naxalites led him too dense forests inside the Kutru forest zone. This morning the villagers saw the dead body of ASI on the main road adjacent to the forest and reported it to the police station. The police, who reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it for a panchnama.
The Maoists have come on the back foot due to the intensive operation being run by the local police and Naxalites against the Naxals in Bastar. Now instead of fighting a direct fight, they are trying to instill fear in the villagers.
By carrying out such incidents like police personnel and public representatives, government employees, and common villagers leading their assassination. On the other hand, many Naxalites, bored with the hollow ideology of Naxalism, are adopting the path of surrender.
