Visitor visas rejected, 183 Pakistanis living illegally in France, including close relatives of former ISI chief Shuja Pasha.

The Consulate General of Pakistan has requested the French authorities to allow the temporary residence of the sister of Lieutenant General Ahmed Shuja Pasha, who is in the country to see her ailing mother-in-law.

Writing on Twitter, the consulate said that after cross-checking the list of deportees handed over to us, we found the name of Lt. Ahmed Shuja Pasha’s sister there.

We have requested the French authorities to grant a temporary stay at their will to see their sick mother-in-law.

It further said that French authorities have rejected 183 Pakistanis living on visitor visas following Prime Minister Imran Khan’s remarks by French President Emmanuel Macron.

The 183 Visitor Visa granted to our citizens has been rejected by the French authorities after criticism by PM Imran Khan. 118 citizens with proper documents were forcibly deported.
