The company has signed the world’s largest aircraft purchase agreements with two companies in the United States and Europe.

The Maharaja of India has signed contracts worth $80 billion with Boeing in the US and Air Bus Company in Europe.

In the near future, Air India will receive around 470 modern airliners from these companies. Air India could make this deal bigger.

A company spokesperson said Air India has the option to purchase an additional 370 aircraft. the biggest deal in the world.

The announcement of the purchase of 470 Air India aircraft is by far the largest transaction in the world.

Air India has not ordered a new aircraft since 2006, but all other airlines in India have seen growth. In 2006, Air India ordered a total of 111 aircraft, including 68 Boeing aircraft and 43 Airbus aircraft.

Why did TATA buy 470 aircraft? Existing aircraft must be replaced with newer aircraft.

In particular, airlines have lost market share in both domestic and international segments due to a lack of new bookings since 2006.

To reaffirm its position in the market and expand its presence outside the country and globally, Air India must raise its bids and place orders for new aircraft.

Existing Air India and Air India Express aircraft also need to be replaced with modern aircraft that are environmentally friendly and consume 15% less fuel.

Air India conducted months of negotiations with aircraft manufacturers and engine orderer brand manufacturers prior to signing contracts to supply the aircraft.

The deal is an indication of developing belief and cooperation among India, France, and the US.

Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran said Air India is undergoing a major transformation that requires modern and efficient aircraft.

Chandrasekaran said he was pleased to announce today that it has signed a letter of intent to purchase 250 aircraft from Airbus. The A350 plane can be used on long-haul routes across the world.
