Wing Commander Harshit Was Cremated At Bhainsakund Ghat

Wing Commander Harshit was cremated at Lucknow’s Bhainsakund Ghat, the army bid farewell to moist eyes.

The last rites of Wing Commander Harshit Sinha of MiG-21, which crashed in Jaisalmer on Friday night, were performed at Bhainsakund Ghat in Lucknow on Sunday.

During this, the army officers bid him a final farewell with moist eyes. His body was brought to Lucknow’s Air Force station late on Saturday night.

From there this morning at Bhainsakund Ghat, the last farewell was given with moist eyes in the presence of his family members and army officers.

Wing Commander Harshit, a resident of Kaveri Green in Gomtinagar, had joined the Air Force in the year 1999. He first lived in a rented room with the family in Mahanagar then Aliganj.

Harshit’s uncle Shishir Sinha told that the body was brought from Jaisalmer to BKT Air Force Station on Saturday night. Harshit did his studies in Lucknow itself.

He was a student of the CMS Mahanagar branch. Harshit has two daughters. Harshit’s wife Priyanka was also on the job earlier. Later he quit his job and did MBA from IIM.

However, she was giving time to the family and had not joined a job anywhere.

Harshit’s father Hemant Kumar Sinha is originally from Ayodhya and currently lives in Kaveri Green Apartment in Gomtinagar Extension. Harshit has two siblings Mohit and Swati.

Harshit was the batchmate of Abhinandan: Harshit was the batchmate of Wing Commander Abhinandan. Both had trained together and also worked at many places.

Harshit was presently posted in Srinagar. Prior to this, he has been posted in other places including Jammu and Kashmir, Bhuj, Suratgarh, and Ambala.

It is noteworthy that the MiG-21 fighter plane went down at around 8.30 pm on Friday night near Sudasari National Desert Park in the Sama area of ​​Jaisalmer district adjoining the Pakistan border in Rajasthan.

It caught fire with an explosion. Pilot Wing Commander Harshit Sinha was martyred in the accident.
