YSR Congress’s Landslide Victory In Andhra Pradesh MC Polls

YSR Congress’s landslide victory in Andhra Pradesh Municipal Corporation election, Telugu Desam Party-Congress eliminated.

In Andhra Pradesh Municipal Elections Result, the ruling YSR Congress in Andhra Pradesh registered a resounding victory in the results announced on Sunday of the urban local body elections.

The YSR Congress has defeated the main opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in 75 municipalities and 11 municipal corporations. This victory won by the party is called ‘Jagan Wash’.

The TDP can only win double-digit seats in five municipal bodies, while the opposition BJP and JSP have benefited only marginally. The Congress is nowhere to be seen in this.

Jagan has tweeted and called this victory the victory of the people. He has said that this has increased the responsibility of doing better work on him. It is a blessing of sisters, brothers, grandparents, and friends.

TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu told party workers in a tweet that there is no need to get frustrated with the election results. He claimed that despite threats, abuse of power, and temptation, we had a good fight.

YSR Congress’s landslide victory: This election was considered to be the first test of the rule of the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government.

The elections to the urban local bodies were held at a time when the opposition jointly attacked the government and accused the YSR Congress of misusing the government machinery, especially the police, for overthrowing the civic bodies.

The YSR Congress termed this unexpected victory as a result of the increased confidence of the people in Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the last 22 months.

According to the YSR Congress, the Chief Minister fulfilled his promise, and the water welfare scheme that was launched in 22 months, has been approved by the public.

YSR’s victory in the municipal elections is even better than the performance in the assembly elections held almost two years ago and the panchayat elections held last month.

The party won about 85 percent of the assembly seats in the 2019 elections and won 83 percent of the panchayats.
