Indian Origin Terrorists Associated With IS Are Active In Afghanistan

Indian origin terrorists associated with IS are active in Afghanistan.

At least, 200 Indian origin terrorists associated with IS are active in Afghanistan, a cause of concern for India’s security agencies

The activity of the Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP) in Afghanistan and the presence of a large number of Indian terrorists in it has become a matter of great concern for the security agencies of India.

According to intelligence agencies, there are about 200 Indian terrorists associated with ISKP in Afghanistan, many of them women.

Perhaps this is the reason why External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar warned the United Nations about the danger of IS activity in Afghanistan.

25 terrorists wanted in various cases of NIA also confirmed to be in Afghanistan.

According to a senior official associated with the intelligence agency, Indian terrorists operating in ISKP in Afghanistan are constantly trying to set up terrorist modules in India.

In the last five years, the NIA has registered about a dozen cases related to IS. During the investigation of these cases, information has been received about many terrorists associated with ISKP.

Of the wanted terrorists of NIA, 25 have been confirmed to be in Afghanistan. But no information has been received about the life or death of these terrorists.

They are expected to reach Afghanistan after the fall of IS in Syria and Iraq.

Recently, after the Taliban occupation of Afghanistan, a large number of jailed terrorists were released. Many of these ISKP terrorists were also there.

Many of them are suspected to be of Indian origin.

Explaining the reason for not knowing much about Indian terrorists operating in ISKP in Afghanistan, a senior official said that most of them are terrorists who had gone to fight with IS in Syria and Iraq.

All of them had reached Syria and Iraq through Gulf countries.

But after the killing of Baghdadi and the elimination of IS in Syria and Iraq, the terrorists associated with it turned to different countries. In this sequence, terrorists of Indian origin reached Afghanistan.

He said that during the Abdul Ghani regime in Afghanistan, efforts were being made to gather information about these terrorists, and some success was also achieved in that.

But after the arrival of the Taliban, the situation has become more complicated.

10 terrorists belonging to IS were arrested from different parts of India

A senior official monitoring the activities of ISKP said that online information about all the activities of this terrorist organization is updated by someone under the pseudonym of Munsib.

An alleged man of Pakistani origin is active on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border and agencies are trying to gather detailed information about him.

It is to be noted that recently the NIA had arrested Jufri Jawahar Damudi from Bhatkal in Karnataka.

Damudi was active on the Internet media under the name of Abu Hajar al-Badri and used to bring out a magazine called Voice of Hind.

Damudi claimed to be active on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, but investigations confirmed his presence in Bhatkal.

Along with Jufri, 10 IS-linked terrorists were arrested from different parts of the country, including two women.
