Infiltration attempt foiled in Jammu and Kashmir’s Karnah, one infiltrator killed.

An unidentified intruder was killed by security forces during a failed infiltration bid along the Line of Control in J&K’s Kupwara district on Friday. The officials informed the media about this.

In this meeting organized under the chairmanship of Commandant Satish Kumar Shastri, Rajendra Singh, Second Commanding Officer, Anulesh Kumar, Deputy Commandant along with Tehsildar Pargwal Manjit Singh, Outpost in-charge Pargwal Deep Sharma, BDC Chairman Nisha Kumari, Sarpanch of the border area and eminent citizens were present.

In the meeting, BSF officers did not cultivate government land across the barricade, leaving the way for the farmers to go to the Tarun post, managing stray cattle across the barricade and many other issues were discussed.

Security forces arrested a terrorist of Lashkar-e-Taiba in Sopore of North Kashmir on Thursday. A hand grenade, a pistol, and a mobile phone and sim card have also been recovered from him.

A police spokesperson said that the Sopore police had received information about the sighting of terrorists in the Peth Seer area today.
