Shira By-Election: Candidate Selection For BJP Is Not Easy

Shira By-election: Candidate selection for the BJP has been a big headache. JDS candidate is Corona positive, the BJP candidate has not been selected yet, and from Congress candidate has been already announced.

Though the JDS party has announced a ticket for the late Satyanarayan’s wife Ammajamma, it is not the only activist. On the day the ticket was announced, Ammajamma was hospitalized with a corona positive and the activist lamented without a candidate.

Shira subsurface incubation is increasing day by day. Candidate selection for the BJP has been a big headache and is facing great opposition from local leaders. JDS candidate Ammajamma is now a corona positive and the enthusiasm of activists is down.

In the meantime, Sakhat activist Agro Congress candidate TB Jayachandra has been campaigning in the field of lightning. Shira’s by-election nomination date is approaching. Meanwhile, the Congress and the JDS have declared candidates.

The BJP is yet to announce its candidate and is trying to ease the grievances of the workers. While Rajesh Gowda is almost certain to be a BJP candidate, Shira by-polls has created a lot of resentment in the BJP.

Even though there are local aspirants, party members from outside are getting tickets. Anta Shira BJP activists have already staged a protest.

The ticket aspirants SR Gowda and BK Manjunath are also said to be in favor of the seniors. At present, the same resentment is a big headache for the BJP, which is campaigning against the candidate’s mockery.

Though the JDS party has announced a ticket for the late Satyanarayan’s wife Ammajamma. On the day the ticket was announced, Ammajamma was hospitalized with a corona positive and the activist lamented without a candidate.

Most of the activists are leaving the JDS party and joining the Congress and the BJP. This has also affected the JDS campaign. In Shira, Congress is at a high speed and TB Jayachandra is busy campaigning.

The JDS is capitalizing on the grievances of the BJP and appealing to the powerful leaders of both parties and drawing to the Congress. And is strategizing on the full consolidation of minority voters.

The BJP and the JDS have to put up with the internal dissatisfaction and put more emphasis on promoting the candidate. The Congress, the BJP, and the JDS have to wait to see who voted for the voter among the three-party political strategies.
