ABVP and Farooq supporters avoid a clash. Supporters of National Conference President and MP Dr. Farooq Abdullah and members of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) came face-to-face with regard to the Gupkar declaration.
ABVP activists arrived on Monday to protest outside Dr. Farooq Abdullah’s residence at Bathindi in Jammu to protest against the Gupkar declaration.
As soon as ABVP activists started demonstrating outside Dr. Farooq’s house by an effigy of him, there were also supporters of Dr. Farooq and started shouting slogans against BJP and in support of Farooq.
The police somehow pacified both sides.
On Monday morning, ABVP workers held the tricolor in their hands and reached out to Dr. Farooq’s residence shouting slogans of Vande Mataram. They started shouting slogans against Farooq there.
The police present there refused to raise slogans to ABVP workers, but they did not agree. They also burnt Farooq Abdullah’s effigy outside his residence.
Meanwhile, supporters of NC President Dr. Farooq also reached there and they also started shouting slogans against BJP and in support of Farooq.
This led to a confrontation between the two sides. The police intervened and removed the ABVP workers from there, after which Dr. Farooq’s supporters also left. Try a million times, article 370 will not be restored now
ABVP leader Prateek Raina, who was leading the protest, said that Dr. Farooq and Mehbooba Mufti are talking anti-national language in the name of the group alliance.
They want to restore Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, but this will not happen. Raina said that NC and PDP should try lakhs.
