A day before Independence Day, an atmosphere of panic prevailed in the busy Satwari Chowk of the city after a bag was found under suspicious circumstances.

At the place where the bag was lying, there is a huge crowd of people throughout the day and there was a police block at some distance from where the policemen were checking the vehicles.

When people saw the bag lying, they immediately informed the police to the police. Police reached the spot after getting information.

Police cleared the space around the bag and drove the people away and opened the bag very carefully and found the army uniform and some items in it.

After searching the bag, the police took it with them to the Satwari police station and they informed the army officers about the army uniform being found in the bag, after which some army officers also reached the police station.

According to the police, in the preliminary investigation, it is coming to the fore that the bag belongs to the army personnel who may have mistakenly forgotten it in Satwari Chowk.

There is also a nameplate on the uniform from which efforts are being made to trace the army personnel.

With the help of the army, the police are also trying to trace the army personnel. After the situation became clear, the police also heaved a sigh of relief.

According to the police, the footage of the CCTV cameras installed in Satwari Chowk is also being scrutinized so that the person who kept the bag can be traced.

On the other hand, after getting the bag, the police have tightened the vigil in the area. At the same time, people say that the police are making claims of tight security.

But the way someone has left the bag here, in the same way, if the terrorists had left with IID or bombs, then a big incident could have been carried out.
