Arms Recovered From A House In Chiyudara Of Budgam District
Arms recovered from a house in Chiyudara of Budgam district, two arrested: Jammu Kashmir. Security forces have recovered a cache of arms from a house located in the Chiyudara area of Budgam district this morning on Sunday.
It also seized grenades, 4 detonators, 25 cartridges, and posters of a terrorist organization. The security forces have taken the landlord Mohammad Yusuf Dar and with him Abdul Majid Aamir into custody for questioning. Other details are awaited.
According to the information, the police and security forces raided the house of Mohammad Yusuf Dar, a resident of the Chiyudara area of Budgam district, on the basis of strong information.
When the security forces entered the house of Mohammad Yusuf Dar, he tried to flee from there, but the security forces arrested him along with another partner standing outside.
There is a possibility that both of them acted as over-ground workers for the terrorists. Currently, both of them have been taken into custody for questioning.
The Budgam police have registered a case in this regard and have initiated further action. It is expected that after stern questioning of these two, there will be many revelations from them.
Jammu Kashmir: ITBP gets new commander in Ladakh, Lahiri Dorji Lahatu is a 1999 batch officer of Manipur cadre.
The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), which guards the Line of Actual Control with China, has appointed Lahiri Dorji Lahatu as the commander in Ladakh.
He is a 1999 batch officer of Manipur cadre. He will replace ITBP Inspector General (IG), Deepam Seth. As per the order issued by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Headquarters.
Seth, a 1995 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of Uttarakhand cadre, has been transferred to the ITBP headquarters in Delhi.
Lahti recently joined the Border Security Force. He has previously served in the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the Special Protection Group (SPG).
According to a senior official, the transfer was done on an administrative and strategic basis. IG Seth will handle the personnel and vigilance charge at ITBP headquarters in Delhi.
