Seth, a 1995 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of Uttarakhand cadre, has been transferred to the ITBP headquarters in Delhi.

Lahti recently joined the Border Security Force. He has previously served in the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the Special Protection Group (SPG).

According to a senior official, the transfer was done on an administrative and strategic basis. IG Seth will handle the personnel and vigilance charge at ITBP headquarters in Delhi.
