Army Chief Said- China And Pakistan’s Nexus Poses A Real Threat

Army chief said- China and Pakistan’s nexus poses a real threat, the deadlock over LAC: India-China Border Update.

Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Narwane said on Tuesday that there has been no change in the situation of the ongoing military standoff along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh.

China has neither reduced the number of its troops on the LAC nor has there been any change in the current state of confrontation. He said that whether it is winter or summer, the army will not withdraw from the front of LAC until the matter is resolved.

Talking about the military being vigilant on the entire border with China, General Narwane also said that Sino-Pak connivance is a real threat to us and in view of this, the army is strategically prepared for the dangers of the double front.

General Narwane made it clear in his annual press conference before Army Day on 15 January that diplomatic initiative has taken place with eight rounds of military dialogue to resolve the current deadlock of LAC in East Ladakh and we hope that the talks will resolve the matter.

But as far as the army is concerned, the army is ready to face any challenge not only on the entire northern border. Not only this, till the solution of the LAC deadlock, the army will remain there, therefore, with full equipment, the soldiers standing on the front have been provided with ration-water, warm clothes, tents, etc.

China drove soldiers in Tibet: Talking about the withdrawal of 10,000 troops by China, the army chief clearly stated that there has been no change or reduction in the number of troops deployed on LAC.

In fact, China has moved troops 500 km from LAC in the Tibet area. General Narwane said that if China takes any step to remove or deploy troops from 500 to 1,500 kilometers, then it does not make much sense for us.

China suddenly acted On the current deadlock of the LAC, the army chief said that Chinese soldiers come to Treng in the area of Tibet in summer and we were fully aware of them.

But suddenly he did it and he had the advantage to move first. During this stalemate in August, we also created First Mover Advantage in many areas. It is the instruction of the government that on these fronts, we will stand on our position till we achieve our national goal through dialogue.

In addition to Ladakh, the army chief also talked about the construction of China’s infrastructure and roads in its border areas near Arunachal Pradesh.

Timely changes in strategy On the question of the challenge of the China-Pakistan double front, General Narwane said that it is not just the words written on paper but the synergy of Sino-Pak that is visible in the military and other issues.

This nexus of Sino-Pak is a real threat to us and hence, assessing these dual challenges, we are making a timely change in the strategy of deployment of forces by balancing.

Will take precise action against terrorism Talking about the continuation of Pakistan’s government policy of spreading terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, the army chief said that we have made it clear that we will not tolerate this.

We have zero-tolerance against terrorism, so we will take appropriate action against such activities, whose day, place, and time will also be decided by us.

covid did not cut defense spending General Narwane said that despite the difficulties of the Covid-19, the operational preparations of the army last year were not affected and the pace of our military modernization did not stop.

The government reduced the budget of all the expenditure but there was no cut in the expenditure of the defense sector.

On the report of increasing incidents of suicide by soldiers due to mental pressure, he said that this is not correct as it has been concluded based on a sample size of only 400. On the contrary, this number is continuously decreasing.
