Army Chief to visit UK and Italy from July 5 to 8, the aim of the visit to increase defense cooperation.

Indian Army Chief General MM Naravane will be on a tour of the UK and Italy from 5th July. During his five-day visit, he will meet senior military leaders of the respective countries with a purpose.

According to information from the Indian Army, during this period the focus will be on increasing India’s defense cooperation. This will be his foreign tour till July 8.

According to reports, the Army Chief will inaugurate the Indian Army Memorial in the famous casino town during his visit.

Also, information will be given at the Italian Army’s Counter IED Center of Excellence in Cechingola, Rome. The Army Chief’s visit to the United Kingdom is scheduled for two days (July 5 and 6).

Army Chief to visit the UK: During which the COAS will interact with the Secretary of State for Defence, Chief of Defense Staff, Chief of General Staff, and other dignitaries.

During this, he will also visit various military formations where he will exchange views on issues of mutual interest.

During the second leg of his visit (7 and 8 July), the Army Chief will hold important discussions with the Chief of Defense Staff and the Chief of Staff of the Italian Army.

Let us tell you that recently the Chief of Army Staff was seen in the Short Span Bridging Systems program who joined the Indian Army.

This bridging system has been designed by Indian Army engineers along with DRDO.

These bridges were given to the Corps of Engineers in Delhi Cantt in the presence of Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane.

During this, the Army Chief said that this is another step towards self-reliant India.
