Army is preventing youth from joining terrorists by contact tracing. The army is making efforts to prevent Kashmiri Muslim youth from joining terrorists’  through contact tracing. The Indian Army is making sure that the youth are prevented from wandering along with the family members in Kashmir.

Lieutenant General BS Raju, the Corps Commander of the 15 Corps of the Army, which is responsible for the security of Kashmir, has acknowledged that this strategy has been very successful. The army is reaching out to them by collecting all the information about the kin of the terrorists active and killed in Kashmir under the contact tracing campaign.

During this time, the family members are being explained that they should explain to the youth that they should not make the mistake of picking up the gun after getting excited. On Sunday in Srinagar, the corps commander said that counseling of families is very important in preventing the youth from going astray. Every effort is being made to reach families whose children may be misguided.

Explain that the Corps Commander had prevented many youths from taking up arms through contact tracing as the GOC of the National Rifles’ Victor Force. The Army’s Victor Force is working to eradicate terrorism in Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Kulgam in Kashmir. Contact tracing is also being used to identify corona infectives.

The corps commander says that under this campaign, the army has been successful in preventing many youths from becoming terrorists. Not telling the number of such youth, the corps commander clarified that the number of youths carrying guns is very less. Our effort is to remove the idea of ​​becoming a terrorist from the minds of the youth.

General Raju said that family and friends have an important role in bringing misguided youth on the path. The cooperation of society can motivate the youth to leave the path of violence. Many relatives issue messages and bring back the misguided youth.

The young Majid gave up arms after one such attempt. He was assured that he would be fully supported in leading a normal life. Today he is studying for the final year outside Jammu and Kashmir. According to the police, around 80 young terrorists have been formed this year from different districts of Kashmiri. Action is being taken by the police along with the army to bring them back.
