Unidentified assailants firing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, three killed and 6 injured. In Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, some unidentified assailants opened fire. 3 people died and 6 injured in the incident. The accused sitting in ambush attacked a car on Sunday in Michni Marg, Peshawar, killing Muhammad Ali and his two gunmen while injuring six people.

Tahir Iqbal killed in another incident

In another incident in the country, Tahir Iqbal, the provincial vice president of the ruling Tehreek-e-Insaf party, was killed and three of his friends were injured. His car was attacked by unidentified gunmen in Haripur district. The province’s chief minister Mahmood Khan ordered an inquiry into the murder of the party leader.

He has sought a report from the provincial police chief. It is noteworthy that two people were killed and three others were injured in firing by unidentified gunmen in Rawalpindi city of Pakistan’s eastern province a few days ago.

Giving information to police sources, leading news channel had said that police had found during a preliminary investigation that three unidentified gunmen opened fire on people standing on the side of the road and then fled to the outskirts of Rawalpindi.

Sources said that after the incident a police team reached the spot. According to sources, the injured have been shifted to the nearest hospital. No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attack yet. Police have also started a search operation in the area to track the on-the-run attackers.

A similar incident came to light about a month ago, in which an unidentified gunman killed the woman near the Afghan border in Pakistan’s northwest. The bike-ridden assailant suddenly fired at the woman carrying the hay bale, killing her.

Meanwhile, an accused of gang-rape of a French woman in front of three children on the highway in Pakistan surrendered to the police on Sunday. After the incident, protests were held all over Pakistan.

In the complaint to the police, the victim said that her car broke down on the highway on Wednesday night. She was waiting for help when two crooks came there and raped her in front of the children.
