There are now three roadways for the Army to reach LAC

The Atal Tunnel is the third way through which the border with China can be reached at any speed in any weather. Till now there were two routes to reach Kargil or Leh.

One of these is the route to reach Leh from Srinagar crossing the Zojila pass. This is the traditional route. There is another way to reach Leh from Manali via Rohtang, Darcha, Baralacha, and Tanglang La.

Weather challenges used to reach Ladakh till now. To overcome these challenges, the soldiers who were vigilant at all times in the service of the country used to discharge their duties, but the challenges were tough, big.

However, due to the formation of the Atal Tunnel, the distance will be reduced to reach Kargil and the army can directly enter China from Ladakh. Also, the pressure on the other two routes will be less. This is why China is upset because of this route.

Farmers Problem solved.

The apple, potato, cabbage, and green peas of Lahul-Spiti, a cold desert, will now reach the mandis of the country easily through this Atal Rohtang Tunnel. The farmers and gardeners of Lahul will not worry about selling products.

Contract farming will also get relief. Farmers will not have to risk their lives to sell crops. Cash crops will get a further boost. Due to Rohtang Pass, the farmers of Lahul were forced to sell their produce at home.

The fair price of the product was also not available. In such a situation, the farmers here were paying attention to contract farming.

The flowers of lilies that were grown on five thousand bigha land of Lahul and Pangi valley will now be scattered in Delhi. The faces of farmers who cultivate flowers will be enchanted.

Earlier, the movement stopped in Lahul for six months, but now economic activities will expand with the facilities of traffic throughout the year.
